The Makush Art Gallery’s “Celebrating Norwegians in Ethiopia” event on November 21, 2025, featured a night filled with jazz music and unique artwork sales, offering attendees a chance to experience culture and creativity.

This celebration comes on the heels of a successful art exhibition held in Oslo, Norway, in May 2025, where the Makush Art Gallery collaborated with Dashen Bank. The exhibition aimed to bolster ties between Ethiopia and Norway, showcasing the rich artistic talents of both nations.

The longstanding partnership between Makush Art Gallery and Dashen Bank spans over 24 years, highlighting their commitment to promoting the arts.

Norwegian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Stian Christensen, made a presentation highlighting the relationship between Ethiopia and Norway.

Natnael Yohannes, director and owner of Makush Art Gallery, appreciated Dashen Bank’s support to art in general the gallery in particular, for over two decades.

The gallery serves as the exclusive provider of Dashen Bank’s international card services while also playing a crucial role in marketing the works of 120 talented artists from the studio.
