Midroc Gold Mine PLC paid a formal visit to Dashen Bank headquarters today, marking a significant moment of corporate synergy as the banking giant celebrates three decades of operations.

Deputy General Manager of Midroc Gold Mine, Tulu Lemma, spearheaded the visit, offering high praise for Dashen Bank’s instrumental role in supporting the mining company’s various operations.

Lemma highlighted the deep-rooted cooperation between the two institutions, extending his congratulations to Dashen’s leadership, its shareholders, and its workforce of thousands.

“Dashen Bank has been more than a financial institution; they have been a steadfast partner in our industrial journey,” Lemma noted.

Accepting the honors on behalf of Dashen’s CEO, Chief Operations Officer, Tibebu Solomon, emphasized the longevity of the relationship. He reaffirmed the Bank’s dedication to evolving alongside its premier clients.

Tibebu pledged that Dashen Bank will continue innovating to meet the complex needs of the mining sector.

Both parties signaled a desire for deeper collaboration as Ethiopia’s economic landscape shifts toward more digitized and industrial-led growth.

The visit by Midroc Gold Mine is part of a wave of congratulations from industry peers, including recent visits from CBE, Awash Bank, and Abay Bank.

The visit kicks off a three-month-long celebration of the Bank’s 30th anniversary. These festivities are scheduled to conclude end of March 2026, reinforcing Dashen’s position as a leader in Ethiopia’s competitive banking market.
