Bank of Abyssinia Executives Visit Dashen Bank to Celebrate 30th Anniversary

Executive Managements from Bank of Abyssinia visited the headquarters of Dashen Bank to convey their congratulatory messages on the bank’s 30th anniversary.

In his speech, Desalegn Yizengaw, Chief Customer Management Officer of Bank of Abyssinia, stated, “On behalf of the Board of Directors of Bank of Abyssinia, senior executives, and the wider banking community, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dashen Bank on reaching this remarkable milestone.”

Desalegn recalled that Dashen Bank and Bank of Abyssinia were established just a few months apart and have journeyed together over the past three decades, highlighting that their contributions to the financial sector have been far from trivial. He also wished Dashen Bank continued growth and success in the years ahead.

Responding on behalf of Dashen Bank, Tibebu Solomon, CEO Representative and Chief Banking Operations Officer, expressed gratitude to Bank of Abyssinia’s executives for their thoughtful congratulations.

Tibebu noted that the two banks, which began operations around the same time, have continued to build on their successes despite challenges over the years. He emphasized that strategic partnerships between the two institutions will play a crucial role in fostering further growth within the Ethiopian banking sector.
