Dashen Bank Delivers Third Season Dashen Kefita Entrepreneurship Training in Jimma

Jimma, Ethiopia – Dashen Bank has successfully conducted the third season of its pre-competition entrepreneurship training today in Jimma city. This event marks another milestone in the bank’s ongoing efforts to foster entrepreneurial skills across the country.

In his opening speech, Ato Wondimagegnhu Tariku, Deputy Head of the Jimma Zone Employment and Skills Bureau, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in the region. He expressed his gratitude to Dashen Bank for stepping up to support this vital initiative, which aligns with the government’s priority tasks.

Representing Dashen Bank’s Jimma District Office, Ato Shimelis Besha highlighted that this is the first time the third phase of the bank’s pre-competition training is being held at the District Office. He urged participants to seize this valuable opportunity to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

Ato Tilahun Tenkolu, Director of Dashen Bank’s Dire Dawa District Office, noted the bank’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) alongside its provision of modern, technology-driven customer services. He stated that Dashen Kefita is among the various initiatives that the bank has launched to support the community.

The first and second phases of the Dashen Kefita Entrepreneurship Competition have already benefitted thousands across different regions of the country. The pre-competition training sessions focus on key areas such as entrepreneurial concept formulation, creative theory preparation, and other related topics, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the competitive business environment.

This training is a testament to Dashen Bank’s dedication to empowering entrepreneurs and contributing to the economic development of Ethiopia.
