Dashen Bank Disburses Over 25 Billion Birr through Partnership with Tele Birr

We are thrilled to share that Dashen Bank has disbursed over 25 Billion Birr loan through its strategic partnership with Ethio Telecom using Telebirr platform since August 2022.

By pioneering mobile-based financial services through the Telebirr platform with our tailored credit solutions Mela and Endekise  we are making financial access easier than ever.

As of September 2026, over 25 Billion Birr was disbursed in loans and 3.2 Million individual borrowers were served. Over 15.7 Million loan contracts were processed.

This milestone reflects our commitment to empowering communities, fostering digital transformation, and expanding economic opportunities across Ethiopia.
