Dashen Bank Hosts Second Women’s Empowerment and Experience Sharing Program

Dashen Bank, renowned for its commitment to empowering women and promoting female leadership, successfully held its second women’s empowerment and experience sharing program today at its headquarters. The event brought together women employees of the Bank, sector executives, and a host of invited guests to celebrate and sharing experiences aimed at enhancing women’s roles in various fields.

Hiwote Kefelegn, Chief People Officer at Dashen Bank, told the audience the Bank’s efforts to boost women’s participation in all areas of society. She outlined the Bank’s “Comprehensive Women Empowerment Program,” which integrates frameworks aimed at increasing female involvement within the organization.

The forum featured a comprehensive presentation by Mehret Debebe, Founder and Director of Mindset Solutions, who shared valuable insights on women’s empowerment and capacity building. Additionally, a panel discussion included prominent figures such as Zaf Gebre, Founder and Owner of ZAF Pharmaceuticals PLC; Hawlet Ahmed (PhD), Assistant Professor at Addis Ababa University; and Mrs. Gelilawit Gebre Michael, Managing Director of MultiChoice Ethiopia.
