Dashen Bank Takes Part at the 2025 Diplomatic Charity Bazaar held at the UNECA

Dashen Bank is participating in the annual Diplomatic Charity Bazaar, taking place today at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). This highly anticipated event brings together around 60 embassies and 30 non-governmental organizations (NGOs), each presenting an array of products from their respective countries.

The Diplomatic Charity Bazaar serves as a vibrant platform that unites local and international communities in support of charitable initiatives across Ethiopia. Drawing thousands of visitors each year, the bazaar features large tents where embassies display traditional handicrafts, artwork, clothing, food, and beverages, while NGOs promote their missions and sell unique products.

At this year’s event, Dashen Bank is offering a variety of banking services through five dedicated branches. The bank has deployed 72 point-of-sale (POS) machines to facilitate seamless transactions for attendees. Additionally, Dashen Bank is highlighting its innovative digital solutions, including the popular Dashen Super App and Bank on Wheels services. These cutting-edge offerings have quickly gained traction among visitors, significantly enhancing access to banking services for all segments of society.
