Dashen Bank’s Daycare Center Enhances Work-Life Balance for Employee Mothers

Dashen Bank’s Daycare Center at its Headquarters is making a meaningful difference in the lives of working mothers by enabling them to balance their professional responsibilities with childcare, according to employees who benefit from the facility.

Speaking about the center, Bedlua Tesfaye, an employee at the Bank’s Headquarters, said the facility provides mothers with a supportive environment where they can breastfeed and closely monitor their children while at work. “Being close to your child is invaluable as a mother. The daycare center allows us to focus on our work with peace of mind, knowing our children are nearby and well cared for,” she said.

Another beneficiary, Hizbalem Kefelegn, who works at the daycare center while caring for her own child, noted that the facility creates a welcoming environment that enables mothers to visit and care for their children whenever needed. She added that the initiative has earned high appreciation from mothers and serves as a model for organizations seeking to promote family-friendly workplaces.

Roman Ketema, another beneficiary, echoed these sentiments, saying the daycare center has significantly reduced the challenges faced by working mothers by ensuring children receive timely breastfeeding and close maternal care throughout the workday.
