Job Title: Resident Auditor I -For Branches Under Hawassa District Branches

Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in a business related field e.g. Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration

Experience

  •  Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience

Job Summary

    • Resident Auditor I will check all banking operations, examine accounting records and other documents to assure compliance of established policy & procedures of the Bank, NBE Directives and other government body requirements. The role holder also provides objective, independent and reasonable assurance and insights on the adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of the control and branches’ operations carried out at the branch to add value to the Bank.

    Required Technical Competency

      • Good understanding of institute of internal auditors (IIA) standards and ability to comply.
      • Good understanding of governance, risk and control framework.
      • Understands the basic mechanisms of general financial products and services.
      • Good knowledge of Bank’s accounting and procedures.
      • Ability to respond to basic client enquiries and instructions and the capability of advising and resolving most issues and requests.
      • Excellent command of Microsoft Office application and good command of the core banking system.
