Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management and/or related fields..

Experience

 At least six (6) years’ post qualification experience.

Job Summary

  • The Planning Specialist is responsible to conduct internal & external analysis and prepare long term & short term plans inline to the overall strategic goals of the bank. In addition the role holder is responsible to analyze organizational performance to ensure the planned goals are aligned with strategic goals and prepare periodic reports to give feedback/improvement.

  • Required Technical Competency

     Knowledge in strategy management – (Planning, Evaluating, Implementing, Monitoring and Evaluation).

     Knowledge and experience in modern Strategic management practices to initiate and implement tactical changes.

     Good understanding or experience of the fields of financial industry development.

     Extensive use of project management approaches including setting project plans, budgets and schedules.

     Keep track of fast-paced markets and be knowledgeable about the Bank’s clients and their needs.

     Demonstrate a keen understanding of industry trends and their implications for the Bank.

     Knowledge of forecasting techniques.

     Experience developing linkages and dependencies between strategy and processes for inter-departmental activities and units and developing mechanisms to ensure integrated transformations.

     Ability to review, interpret and make precise inferences from a wide range of business reports and data, including budgets, financial reports, business intelligence reports.

     Project management skills.
