Job Title: Cyber Incident & Response Engineer 

Qualification

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, Information systems or software engineering or any other equivalent field.

  • Relevant Professional qualifications and certifications is added advantage. 

  •  Security related Cisco or any other CCNA/CCNP/CCIE

  •  Cyber Security Certifications CEH, CISA,CISM,CCSP,CISSP, Security+, SSCP,CEH,OSCP

  • Microsoft windows or Linux certifications.

Experience

At least Six (6) years’ experience as a software engineer with demonstrated success developing a variety of software systems while taking on increasing responsibility for analysis, design, implementation and deployment tasks

Job Summary

  • Cyber Security-Incident Response Engineer is responsible for development of cyber incident techniques, tactic, and guideline of the Bank as well as identification, detection, analyzing, triaging, scoping, containing, isolating, and providing guidance for remediation and determining the root cause of cyber security incidents in a structured way. The role holder is in charge of investigation and resolve information security incidents as they occur, draw out the lessons from incidents (post incident reports) and prepare the Bank to cope more effectively with future incidents. S/he is also proactively monitor networks, alerts and logs for security, performance, and other issues. Coordinate and guide wide variety of activities associated with identification and treatment of cyber related risks throughout the Bank.

  • Required Technical Competency
  •  Project management skills.

     In depth knowledge of server, clients, mobile operating systems and DBMS with demonstrated understanding of security designing of information systems in general.

     In depth knowledge of tools used to secure and test security of information systems.

     Demonstrated knowledge on threats and attack vectors as well as incident response and management.

     Strong vulnerability management experience.

     Solid knowledge of security standards, IT security regulatory and compliance regulations and standard.

     Knowledge of various programming and scripting languages.

     Knowledge of and practical experience with various Internet protocols.

     Strong understanding and knowledge of IT risk assessment, risk procedures, security assessment, vulnerability management, penetration testing.

     Service Management or support in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines.

     Understanding of IP networks traffic, firewalls, routing etc.

     Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
