“Discover Ethiopia Classic 2026” Great Run Concludes Colorfully in Harar with Dashen Bank as Sole Banking Partner

The grand finale of the “Discover Ethiopia Classic 2026”, Great run organized by Great Ethiopian Run in partnership with Dashen Bank and other stakeholders, was successfully held today in the city of Harar, bringing the nationwide series to a vibrant conclusion.

As the exclusive banking partner of the event, Dashen Bank played an active role throughout the race series, engaging participants and the wider community through various promotional activities. To enhance customers’ experience, the Bank enabled participants to purchase official race T-shirts at a special discounted price through the Dashen Super App.

During the closing event, Dashen Bank officials, including representatives from the Marketing and Branding Department, attended the award ceremony for the Under-16 youth competition sponsored by the Bank and presented prizes to the outstanding young winners.

Ahead of the main race, participants and invited guests took part in a walking tour of Harar’s historic Jegol area on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Later that evening, an appreciation and recognition program was held to honor the organizations and individuals whose contributions made this year’s Discover Ethiopia Classics a success. The 2026 Discover Ethiopia Classics commenced in Debre Berhan before continuing to Hawassa, Jimma, Bekoji, Arba Minch, and finally Harar.
