MIDROC Week Fair to be held, Dashen Bank Steps Up as Sole Banking Partner

MIDROC Ethiopia has announced the “MIDROC Week Fair,” scheduled for September 1–5, 2025, at Millennium Hall, with Dashen Bank serving as the exclusive banking partner.

Hunachew Taye, the Corporate Communication and Promotion Director of MIDROC Investment Group, emphasized the company’s substantial contributions to Ethiopia over the past three decades. “MIDROC has created employment opportunities for over 74,000 citizens and has committed to donating 10 percent of its profits to charitable causes,” he stated.

As part of their community outreach efforts, MIDROC and Dashen Bank have established three feeding centers in Addis Ababa and one in Jigjiga, Somali Region, demonstrating their commitment to addressing social needs.

In collaboration with MIDROC, Dashen Bank has been designated as the sole banking partner for the fair. The bank will offer a full suite of banking services, facilitating seamless transactions for participants. Additionally, Dashen Bank plans to showcase its innovative services, including the recently launched Dashen Super App, which aims to enhance the banking experience for customers.

The fair will also include a panel discussion featuring prominent economists, providing attendees with insights into economic trends and opportunities in Ethiopia.
