MSA Business Group Executives Congratulate Dashen Bank on 30th Anniversary
The Executive Management of MSA Business Group, which has maintained a long-standing business partnership with Dashen Bank for over 26 years, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Bank on the occasion of its 30th anniversary.
Speaking at the ceremony, Founder and CEO Mulualem Alene reflected on the enduring relationship between the two institutions, noting that their partnership has spanned more than two and a half decades. Over these years, he said, Dashen Bank has played a significant role in supporting MSA’s remarkable growth from an initial capital of 1.25 million birr to 15 billion birr today.
He further highlighted that with the Bank’s financial backing and collaboration, MSA Business Group has grown from a small-scale supplier into a national enterprise, importing goods worth over 500 million dollars. The Group has created employment opportunities for more than 2,500 permanent and temporary staff, contributes over 1.5 billion birr in annual taxes, and has emerged as one of the country’s leading manufacturing companies, particularly in agro-processing and export trade.
Mulualem also expressed the aspiration of MSA’s senior leadership for Dashen Bank to continue its trajectory as a leading financial institution, not only in Ethiopia but across Africa and globally. He voiced hopes that the Bank will further strengthen its digital transformation, enhance customer satisfaction, and remain innovative in adopting new ideas and technologies.
On his part, Tibebu Solomon, CEO Representative and Chief Banking Operations Officer of Dashen Bank, stated that MSA Business Group is among the Bank’s key customers and partners. He expressed pride in the 26-year partnership and acknowledged the strong customer relationship that has contributed to mutual success.
Tibebu emphasized that customers are the cornerstone of Dashen Bank’s achievements over the past three decades. He conveyed his wish to see MSA Business Group expand beyond its current scale to become the largest business group in the country, assuring that Dashen Bank will continue to stand alongside MSA in its ongoing journey of growth and transformation
