Third Phase of Dashen Kefeta Entrepreneurship Pre-Competition Training Held in Mekelle City

The third phase of the Dashen Kefeta Entrepreneurship Pre-Competition Training was conducted in Mekelle City. This initiative is part of Dashen Bank’s ongoing efforts to enhance entrepreneurship skills among young people across Ethiopia.

Dr. Kelali Adhana, head of the Tigray Region Science Technology and Innovation Bureau, highlighted the significance of Dashen Bank’s initiatives in supporting the government’s efforts to reduce unemployment. He emphasized the regional government’s readiness to support Dashen Bank in these endeavors.

Mr. Elias Hussien, Chief Strategy Officer of Dashen Bank, noted that since its establishment, Dashen Bank has been committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities alongside offering modern, technology-assisted, customer-oriented services. He recounted that in the first and second phases of the Dashen Kefeta Entrepreneurship Competition, the bank provided training to thousands of young people across the country to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

Haile Kassay, director of Dashen Bank’s Mekelle District Office, recalled the previous rounds of the business entrepreneurship competitions organized by the bank, where winners received prizes and financial support. He encouraged participants in the third round to seize this opportunity and strive for success.

The third phase of the Dashen Kefeta Entrepreneurship Competition includes pre-competition training in 10 Centers, with Mekelle City being the latest venue following Hawassa. This initiative underscores Dashen Bank’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and contributing to the nation’s socio-economic development.
